Plant was a Joy!
Robert and Buddy (and the new gang) put on another fantastic performance; this time, without Alison. They did an excellent mix of their 2010 Band of Joy material with Plant and Zeppelin songs mixed in, and done in their new folk style. Of course, growing-up with Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant (solo) stuff, my wife (who is a total bluegrass and folk nut) and I were impressed. But to my surprise, my 15-year-old daughter, who has heard all of Plant's material really enjoyed the concert as well. Then again, when Buddy toured with Emmy Lou a while back, she was taken backstage and met them both. So for her it was awesome to see Buddy again and experience his guitar and style with Plant's songs. Simply amazing for all three of us. Thanks guys. Oh yeah -- Patty's efforts go without saying; and who is this Darrell guy?! Everyone was awesome. What a team!!
